THE WOLVERINE: New Image With Hugh Jackman

No pain – no gain! Logan is pushed to the limit in this brand new image from The Wolverine, which is set to hit theaters this month! Nothing to be surprised about. After all, Jackman previously explained that he’s definitely at his lowest point at the beginning of this movie, and that we’ll see him more vulnerable than we’ve ever seen him before. Anyway, let us once again remind you that director James Mangold stands behind The Wolverine, which, beside Jackman, also stars Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto and Rila Fukushima.

Some time after X-Men: The Last Stand, Logan travels to Japan, where he engages a figure from his past in a fight that has lasting consequences.

In other words:

Out of his depth in an unknown world, he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.
