Certainly she’s a villain, but I love the character – says Svetlana Khodchenkova about her Viper lady. We love her too, and that’s exactly why we want you to take a much better look at this lovely mutant, who (beside those great glasses) has an immunity to toxins in James Mangold‘s upcoming movie. Head inside to check her out…
What’s so special about this lady? She’s dangerous, she looks great, but she doesn’t really have many people that she cares about. In fact, most of them she just for her own purpose. Or, as director Mangold said:
…Viper views Logan like a great hunter might view hunting a lion in his quarry.
You already had a chance to check her out in that awesome featurette, we also shared some great character posters and images with Khodchenkova, who says that Viper is not the ordinary comic-book character and adds:
She’s amazing and very diverse. Mangold has always been experimental with her character, from her manners to her overall appearance. She is endowed with qualities such as love and hate, and she’s not a reflective character, so her story can last longer.
Of course, it’s not all about this pretty villain in the upcoming epic action-adventure. In case you forgot, the movie revolves around the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, played by Hugh Jackman, who (this time) travels to modern day Japan where he will:
…face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.
Also starring Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee, The Wolverine is set to hit theaters on July 26th, 2013.
