Check Out: New Poster For THOR: THE DARK WORLD, With Chris Hemsworth & Natalie Portman
Thor and Jane look pretty cool on the latest poster for the upcoming Thor: The Dark World. Unfortunately, we can’t say the same about the rest of the cast. It’s like they want us to say: look, there’s Tom Hiddleston out there! Look, they even have Anthony Hopkins! Wow, and Jaimie Alexander is on board, too! Blah, nothing spectacular, but head inside to take a look…
Anyway, in case you’ve missed our preious reports, we definitely recommend you to check out two more (far better) posters for the movie, as well as the very first trailer for the whole thing.
And, let’s not forget to mention that a brand new trailer for Thor: The Dark World arrives this Wednesday (August 7th).
Directed by Alan Taylor, the sequel to 2011’s Thor and the eighth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to hit theaters on November 8th, 2013, and in case you forgot, the movie continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.
In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.Beside the above mentioned names, the rest of the cast includes Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Rene Russo.
