Tilda SwintonBased on the novel by Robert Harris, the film will focus on a ghost writer (Nicolas Cage) who uncovers a conspiracy while working with a former British Prime Minister (Pierce Brosnan) on a book. Tilda Swinton joins Nicolas Cage and Pierce Brosnan in the adaptation of the Robert Harris political thriller. Swinton will play the wife of the former prime minister (Brosnan). Her marriage is crumbling, and she falls for the writer. Director Roman Polanski earlier said of the film: “I have been looking for a political thriller to direct for some time, and The Ghost could not be more perfect. Robert has constructed a novel with such suspense. It is hard to put it down.” Robert Benmussa and Alain Sarde are producing. Polanski and Harris teamed to write the script.
