The film is the first live-action project for director
Andrew Stanton, who helmed Pixar's Wall-E and Finding Nemo. Joining Kitsch in the cast ensemble are

James Purefoy and
Mark Strong.
John Carter is set to hit theaters on March 9th, 2012.
