In case you’re not so familiar with this title, I will first inform you that Ginger & Rosa is an upcoming drama which comes from director Sally Potter, and stars Elle Fanning and Alice Englert in the leading roles. The movie premiered this September at the Toronto Film Festival, and as you already see – today we have some pretty cool stuff from the whole thing to share with you, so make sure you check out the rest of this report!
Written and directed by Sally Potter, the movie is set in London, 1962, and centers on two teenage girls whose intense friendship is tested by the dramatic events they are living through.

London, 1962. Two teenage girls – Ginger and Rosa – are inseparable; they play truant together, discuss religion, politics and hairstyles, and dream of lives bigger than their mothers’ frustrated domesticity. But, as the Cold War meets the sexual revolution, and the threat of nuclear holocaust escalates, the lifelong friendship of the two girls is shattered – by the clash of desire and the determination to survive.
