Here comes another harmless family comedy from Kevin James, but it is not known what audience he is trying to get for his new movie as the notion of violence may turn some of them off to the film.
However, the trailer for Frank Coraci‘s Here Comes the Boom is now online and you can check it out using the player below.
James stars as a high school science teacher Scott Voss who begins to raise money by moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter in order to save school projects from budget cuts.
Another possible weakness is related to zero chemistry between James and Salma Hayek who plays the school nurse, Bella filled with James slapstick gags to elicit easy laughs.
If you are an MMA geeks look out for cameos from fighters Jason ‘Mayhem' Miller, and Krzysztof Soszynski along with former champion, and Inside MMA host, Bas Rutten.
Featuring a script by James and Allan Loeb, Here Comes the Boom comes to theaters October 12th, 2012.
