WRATH OF THE TITANS TV Trailer

Allan Ford March 29, 2012 1 comment
Wrath of the Titans
Wrath of the Titans Warner Bros. Pictures has released this new TV trailer for the Jonathan Liebesman-directed Wrath of the Titans, a  sequel to Clash of the Titans. Starring Sam Worthington, Bill Nighy, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Rosamund Pike, Danny Huston, Edgar Ramirez and Toby Kebbell, the film pick up the action ten years after Perseus took down Kraken in the original. Worthington is back as Perseus — the demigod son of Zeus (Neeson)– and is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus' godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramirez), switch loyalties and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans' strength grows stronger as Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon's demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind. Wrath of the Titans is scheduled to light up theaters on March 30th, 2012. [jwplayer mediaid=”96247″] Wrath of the Titans Poster

Liam Neeson is the man! I just finished watching Clash of the Titans, which I received through my Blockbuster @Home subscription just in time for me to make it to the Wrath of the Titans premiere tonight! A few of my friends from work at DISH are getting out late, but as soon as they’re out we’ll be on our way. I’m looking forward to more action and I hope that the 3D effects are incredible!
