Zoe Kravitz to Join Will and Jaden Smith in Shyamalan’s 1000 A.E.

Zoe Kravitz Things are getting quite serious with M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming sci-fi project 1000 A.E. Today we have Zoe Kravitz and Sophie Okonedo in talks to join previously announced Will Smith and Jaden Smith. In case you're a little bit confused by this title I will just add right here at the beginning that another possible name for the whole thing is After Earth. Anyway, we're not here to chat about that, so let's get straight to the point. If negotiations work out, Kravitz would play Smith's daughter while Okonedo would play his wife. The story is set 1,000 years into the future, where a young boy navigates an abandoned and sometimes scary Earth to save himself and his estranged father after their ship crashes. Not so hard to guess who's on board to play the hero-father and who would play his son, right? At the end, I will just remind you that Shyamalan directs this project from a script by Gary Whitta and Stephen Gaghan and the movie start shooting early next year for a June 2013 release. Stay tuned for more updates on this one!
