Samuel L. Jackson was dressed in Nick Fury’s colorful weekend wear the last time we saw him. The new photos from Captain America: The Winter Soldier also show us Jackson as Nick Fury wandering around the downtown Cleveland as the leader of the clandestine government organization.
The sequel to Marvel’s Captain America offers a lot of action so the video taken from the set features a lot of police cars, S.W.A.T. officers, and gun fire at the corner of East 6th and Rockwell, next to the Federal Reserve Bank and just across from the Cleveland Public Library.
Directed by Cleveland natives Joe and Anthony Russo, Captain America 2 shot in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., before arriving in Cleveland.
The upcoming sequel sees Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) struggling to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.
Also starring Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Robert Redford, Frank Grillo, Hayley Atwell, Cobie Smulder, Emily VanCamp, Toby Jones, Maximiliano Hernandez, and Georges St-Pierre, the latest Marvel superhero movie is slated to hit theaters on April 4th, 2014.
