Walk of Shame is an upcoming comedy which comes from writer/director Steven Brill, and as you already see from our title – the movie will have quite interesting cast on board. We previously learned that Elizabeth Banks is going to play the female lead in the whole thing, and now comes the word that Ethan Suplee is also attached to star as a gung-ho cop. Sounds promising already?
So, at this moment we know that Banks is set to play an aspiring Los Angeles TV news anchor who, after losing an audition for her dream job, goes out for an uncharacteristic night of hard partying and drinking.
As usual – the morning after changes everything. In her case – she wakes up with no money, car, or memory of the previous night’s events. But the good thing is that she finds a message from her agent telling her that she actually won the audition and must be on the air by 5pm.
She then must embark on a walk of shame across hostile neighborhoods in a presumably eventful quest that will lead her to the station by 5:00.
As I said at the beginning, Suplee is set to play a gung-ho cop. And that’s basically all we know about the project so far.
At the end let me also add that Sidney Kimmel, Gary Lucchesi and Tom Rosenberg are producing the movie, and as usual – we’ll keep an eye on this comedy, so make sure you stay tuned for more!
