Hope you're ready for two more Pacific Rim clips, 'cause it's time for some real action! As you already see from our title, the first video is all about Kaiju vs. Jaeger (read: Kikuchi and Hunnam kicking that awful monster's ass) while the second one centers on a chat between Dr. Newton Geizler and Hannibal Chau. Let us first remind you that Pacific Rim opens on July 12th, 2013, it comes from director Guillermo del Toro, and stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, Ron Perlman, Robert Kazinsky and Max Martini.
The film is set in the near future where soldiers pilot giant robots (known as Jaegers) into battle against invading giant monsters (aka Kaiju) who have risen from beneath the ocean.
But as the war continues, even the Jaegers (controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge) struggle to win the war against a relentless enemy. Against all odds, the remaining forces of mankind make a final stand.
Charlie Hunnam plays Raleigh Becket, a washed-up former Jaeger pilot called out of retirement by the Pan Pacific Defense Corps. Becket and his co-pilot, Kikuchi's character Mako Mori (who lost her family in a Kaiju attack), are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past.
Charlie Day stars as Dr. Newton Geizler, a scientist studying the Kaiju. In this clip, he goes out on the streets to talk to Ron Perlman‘s character – Hannibal Chau, a Black Market Dealer, in order to get his hands on an actual brain and have a close encounter with a few of the Kaiju.
