The Vanishing director George Sluzier said he will complete Dark Blood, the drama River Phoenix was shooting before his sudden death in front of L.A.’s The Viper Room, eleven days from the film’s wrap. Well, guess what, according to the latest reports, Amy Adams is now officially on board to star in the project, which begins production later this month. So, yes, the previous rumors were true, and I’m sure you have nothing against this decision.
Adams will now join the cast that already includes Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix, Laura Dern, Jesse Plemons and David Warshofsky.

So, we know that The Weinstein Company has won a battle for worldwide distribution rights to the untitled next film by Paul Thomas Anderson.
As we previously reported, the working title of this movie is The Master, and it will follow “a charismatic intellectual who hatches a faith-based organization that begins to catch on in America in 1952.
The core is the relationship between the Master and Freddie, a twentysomething drifter who becomes the leader’s lieutenant.
As the faith begins to gain a fervent following, Freddie finds himself questioning the belief system he has embraced, and his mentor,” till, as Deadline reports, earlier drafts of the story were overtly based on Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, but that has changed.
