Ok, let’s get one thing straight right here at the beginning of this report.
We have a new poster for David Cronenberg‘s Cosmopolis and I don’t care if this is a fan-made poster or the official one – I still think it looks way better than that shitty poster with Robert Pattinson inside of a car or something like that. Ok?

Venice 2011: Chicken With Plums Trailer, Poster and Movie Photos
I get bored easily. And somehow, this boring-mania usually starts with the Film Festivals, because then I have an obligation to watch all those boring trailers, read boring synopsis, write something boring about the movies, and so on…
But it looks that this year, that won’t be a case. At least, the first trailer for Vincent Paronnaud & Marjane Satrapi’s Chicken With Plums shows there’s a hope for the upcoming Venice Film Festival.
Kevin Durand Joins Cosmopolis
David Cronenberg’s upcoming Cosmopolis, project that is, as you already know, based on Don DeLillo tome of the same name, is definitely getting bigger.

According to the latest reports, Baruchel will play “the shy guy who founded the company, and who acts as the trader’s conscience.”
Sarah Gadon Joins David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis
Few days ago we had a little update on David Cronenberg’s project Cosmopolis, and today we’re here for another one!
Now, Sarah Gadon (probably best known from Charlie Bartlett) has been confirmed to star in the upcoming big screen adaptation of Don DeLillo’s book of the same name, and, according to the latest reports, lovely Canadian actress will play Robert Pattinson‘s wife.
She has already worked with Cronenberg landing a role in his A Dangerous Method where she plays Emma Jung, Carl Jung’s wife.
Juliette Binoche and Mathieu Amalric in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis
David Cronenberg‘s upcoming Cosmopolis currently has Robert Pattinson and Paul Giamatti set to star. But the project is definitely getting bigger, since we just learned that French actress Juliette Binoche and Mathieu Amalric has signed on to star in the whole thing, as well!
I’m sure you all remember that the duo won acting awards at last year’s Cannes ceremony, and with all this cast on board, Cosmopolis looks like a promising project, indeed.
Pattinson will star as newly married billionaire Eric Packer who cheats on his wife, and is pursued by a stalker, played by Giamatti. When it comes to Binoche and Amalric, at this moment there are no details on their roles.
However, you already know that Cronenberg movie is an adaptation of Don DeLillo‘s novel, and here’s a little description:
Cannes 2010: Mathieu Amalric’s Tournée
Finally some comedy at Cannes! Check out an upcoming french film titled Tournée directed by Mathieu Amalric.
If this is not enough for start, let’s already describe this as a road movie which takes place “in the world of striptease”. Interested anyone?
Hope you are, so get ready for this one, scheduled to compete for the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival 2010.
Tournée is a story about American burlesque girls on tour in France, with an ex-show producer trying to make a comeback with a troupe of “new burlesque” dancers style.
