Penelope Cruz and Emile Hirsch in Twice Born
What’s happening with Penelope Cruz these days? I mean, she’s in almost every our report. We have nothing against this, obviously, but today she’s not alone!
According to the latest reports, Cruz and Emile Hirsch are attached to star in an upcoming drama-based project titled Venuto al Mondo, or if you wish Twice Born.
This project will be directed by Sergio Castellitto, and will actually be an adaptation of novel written by Margaret Mazzantini, who is Castellitto’s wife and one of Italy’s most popular writers.
Woody Allen’s New Movie Has Working Title: Bop Decameron
Mistery solved! It’s not going to be The Wrong Picture, because we finally learned that Woody Allen‘s new movie has the working title Bop Decameron.
And yes, it’s the same project that we already wrote about, but it’s always a good time to update everything that has to do with Allen’s next project.
So, Penelope Cruz, Alec Baldwin, Jesse Eisenberg, Ellen Page and Roberto Benigni are all involved in this “comic picture, an out-and-out comedy”, but thanks to Variety, we have more details about the whole thing, beside the cast and the fact that it will be set in Rome.

Yeah, this is the same mysterious project we wrote a couple of weeks ago. Woody Allen‘s upcoming and still untitled film already has quite interesting cast on board.
As you all know, Penelope Cruz, Alec Baldwin, Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page are all involved in this “comic picture, an out-and-out comedy” (that’s exactly how Allen describes the whole thing).
But, I’m sure you’ll be happy to hear that Oscar-winning Roberto Benigni (Life Is Beautiful) is attached to star in it, as well.

No doubt Penelope Cruz is an actress that every director wants to work with her again – her collaboration with both Pedro Almodovar and Woody Allen confirms it.
Pe was honored for her roles in critically acclaimed Almodovar’s movies such as Broken Embraces and Volver, and playing in Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona she has achieved nothing less – she picked up a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. They got together again for the latest Allen’s Rome-set project, with working title The Wrong Picture.

Few days ago we reported that Penelope Cruz and Alec Baldwin are set to star in the upcoming Woody Allen‘s mysterious project, and today we’re here for a new update!
Accodring to the latest reports, we have two more names on board now – The Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg and Inception star Ellen Page. Not bad at all, don’t you think?
Although, it would be nice to hear at least something about the plot for the yet untitled comedy that will shoot in Rome, because Allen has declared New York City, the site of a majority of his most famous films, as now too expensive to shoot films in.

Few days ago we had a little chat about the upcoming Woody Allen‘s mysterious project, when we reported that Penelope Cruz is set to reteam with director. Now, it looks that Alec Baldwin is attached to star in Allen’s upcoming untitled comedy that will shoot in Rome. And that’s basically all we know about the whole thing at this moment.
We like the fact that Baldwin is attached to this project, and from what we heard from Deadline “…Allen has just begun putting this film together, and word is that “The Social Network” star, Jesse Eisenberg is also in line for a lead.”

Just in case you’re planning to visit Cannes this May, we recommend you to check out Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth installment in the Disney franchise that will play at the fest May 14 (if you don’t check it out on May 7 at Disneyland which is film’s world premiere).
