Hey Hobbit fans, you have nothing to worry about – director Peter Jackson is here to explain all important details about his upcoming The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug movie. While you're enjoying Jackson's newest video, I will once again remind you that The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is the second of a three-part film adaptation of J. R. R. Tolkien‘s popular masterpiece The Hobbit (beginning with An Unexpected Journey and set to conclude with There and Back Again).
As you already had a chance to see from the first official trailer for the whole thing, the movie continues the adventure of Bilbo Baggins who this time:
…journeys with the wizard Gandalf and thirteen dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield on an epic quest to reclaim the lost dwarf kingdom of Erebor.
Starring Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Benedict Cumberbatch, Lee Pace, Sylvester McCoy, Luke Evans, Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is set to hit theaters on December 13th, 2013.
Hope you're not too disappointed with the fact that the movie won't have a presence at the San Diego Comic-Con and that (as Jackson revealed) no actors will be available?
