We have added a new set of photos from Troy Nixie directed remake Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.
“Don't Be Afraid of the Dark” was a 1973 TV movie starring Kim Darby and Jim Hutton. They played a couple that inherits a mansion in habited by demon-like creatures that are after the wife. The remake tweaks the premise but keeps the horror concept the same. Now it's a young girl (Bailee Madison) who goes to live with her father (Guy Pearce) and his new girlfriend (Katie Holmes), and the little girl discovers creatures that want to claim her as one of their own.

The script was co-written by Matthew Robbins (Dragonslayer, Mimic, The Concert) and del Toro. Co-stars Alan Dale, Nicholas Bell, Jack Thompson, Julia Blake.
Produced by Guillermo del Toro, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark is set to be released on August 26th 2011.
