They already say 2 Guns is a different kind of action movie, so let's give them a try and share a brand new red band trailer for the whole thing! As you're about to see, this new video gives us a much better look at Paula Patton, aka sexy DEA agent named Deb, but you have nothing to worry about – Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg are also there to share some explosive action. So, as we previously reported, director Baltasar Kormakur stands behind this action thriller which is based on a comic series of the same name by Boom! Studios.
Kormakur already revealed that his movie is a pulpy comic adaptation, which revolves around a DEA agent Bobby Trehch and a naval intelligence officer Marcus Stigman who find themselves on the run after a botched attempt to infiltrate a drug cartel.

For the past 12 months, Trench and Stigman have been reluctantly attached at the hip. Working undercover as members of a narcotics syndicate, each man distrusts his partner as much as the criminals they have both been tasked to take down.When their attempt to infiltrate a Mexican drug cartel and recover millions goes haywire, they are suddenly disavowed by their superiors. Now that everyone wants them in jail or in the ground, the only person they can count on is the other. Unfortunately for their pursuers, when good guys spend years pretending to be bad, they pick up a few tricks along the way.
Also starring Bill Paxton, Edward James Olmos, and James Marsden, 2 Guns is set to hit theaters on August 2nd, 2013.
