A brand new batch of beautiful high-res photos from the upcoming sci-fi adventure John Carter has just been released. Taylor Kitsch and Lynn Collins star in the film.
Based on author Edgar Rice Burroughs' Barsoom series, John Carter tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions.

In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.
A sturdy-looking supporting cast includes Thomas Haden Church, Samantha Morton, James Purefoy, Dominic West, Bryan Cranston and Mark Strong.
John Carter opens in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on March 9th, 2012.
