Millennium Entertainment has released 9 high resolution photos from Rampart, directed by Oren Moverman and starring Woody Harrelson as L.A. officer Dave Brown, the most corrupt cop in LA in the 90s.
The supporting cast — Ben Foster, Ice Cube, Anne Heche, Robin Wright, Sigourney Weaver, Cynthia Nixon, Ned Beatty and Steve Buscemi. — is also excellent. It's a screenplay written by James Ellroy (L.A. Confidential), directed by Oren Moverman (The Messenger).
Brown is a Vietnam veteran working in the early '90s, whose uncompromising brand of policing comes under close scrutiny when he is caught on camera delivering a violent beating to a suspect.
His difficulties are not confined to his job, as he struggles in his relationship to his frightened family members.
Rampart comes to theaters January 27th, 2012.
