A SINGLE SHOT Featurette: Sam Rockwell Makes Two Fatal Mistakes

A SINGLE SHOT Yep, in David M. Rosenthal‘s crime thriller A Single Shot, Sam Rockwell plays a hunter who accidentally kills a young woman. But that’s not the only mistake he makes. The real nightmare starts when he discovers a box of money near her body and decides… well, to take the damn money, what else? Head inside to find the latest featurette for the movie which is set to hit theaters next month, it sure looks promising… [jwplayer mediaid=”167904″] Based on Matthew F. Jones‘ novel of the same name, the movie revolves around the tragic death of a beautiful young girl that starts a tense and atmospheric game of cat and mouse between hunter John Moon (played by Rockwell) and criminals out for his blood. Everything starts with a bang: a single shot, aimed at a lone deer, hits and kills a young woman. Just like you had a chance to see in the official trailer:
John watches her die before discovering a box of money near her body. In a desperate panic, he takes the cash — hiring a low-rent lawyer to fight his wife’s divorce suit — and attempts to cover up the killing. But when he discovers that the money belonged to a group of hardened criminals, the hunter becomes the hunted in this tense cat-and-mouse struggle in the backwoods of West Virginia.
Also starring William H. Macy, Jeffery Wright, Jason Isaacs, Kelly Reilly, A Single Shot opens on September 20th, 2013. Anyone out there interested in this white-knuckle thriller, or what? A SINGLE SHOT Poster 02
