I’m not sure that we actually need a Robocop remake, but I’m sure that (if that shit is going to happen after all) we’ll need a pretty face to relieve the pain.
And Abbie Cornish is a cute girl, so quite logically – she has an offer to star in the upcoming Jose Padilha’s reboot.
Will she accept? Well, look, I’m pretty sure she’s in. When Joel Kinnaman was crazy enough to accept the titular role, Cornish is a piece of cake!
Ok, ok, I already hear you saying – how can you say she’s a piece of cake when she starred in quite serious projects like Sucker Punch and she will next be seen in Seven Psychopaths?
Well, ok, but don’t forget that even one Gary Oldman is on board for the Robocop remake. Gary Oldman, for God’s sake! Even worse – he will play the scientist who is responsible for creating a fucking Robocop. Crazy stuff, I know…
And, on the other hand, we’ve just learned that, if negotiations work out, Cornish would come on board to play Kinnaman’s wife. You know, the one who thinks she is a widow, kind of a female lead, or something like that.
So, yes, I’ll take my guess once again – she’s definitely in!
