Another 3D movie is coming, and this time we're here to have a little chat about DreamWorks Animation's 3D film titled Rise of the Guardians, based on William Joyce‘s upcoming children's book series The Guardians of Childhood. Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine, Isla Fisher, Hugh Jackman, Jude Law So, no big deal? Wait until you hear who will voice the lead roles in the whole thing! Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman, Jude Law and Isla Fisher. Not bad for a 3D epic, right? Here's the Rise of the Guardians synopsis: “When an evil spirit called Pitch becomes bent upon taking over the world by inspiring fear in the hearts of kids everywhere, a group of our greatest heroes – Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman and Jack Frost – band together for the first time, determined to stand in Pitch's way. More than a collection of storybook subjects, “The Guardians” are also a band of superheroes, who possess their own special powers. Now joined in opposition of a common foe, the Guardians heed the call and combine their powers to defeat Pitch and protect the world from his campaign of fear.” So, you can already guess the roles: Law will be the villain Pitch, Baldwin is Santa Claus, Fisher is the Tooth Fairy, Jackman is the Easter Bunny and Pine is Jack Frost. Quite interesting cast, so it's obvious why Bill Damaschke, DreamWorks Animation's chief creative officer said: “When we bring Bill Joyce's imaginative vision to the screen in 2012, audiences will experience an incredible story with a truly epic sense of adventure.” At the end of this report, let's just add that the first book should be released later this year, while the movie is slated for November 2, 2012. Director Guillermo del Toro will executive produce the film.
