It looks that Amy Adams is quite serious about her next project, an adaptation of Steve Martin‘s novel An Object of Beauty.
Not only she’s now set to star as the lead in the whole thing but she will also produce the movie.
An Object of Beauty will center on an art entrepreneur over 15 years of her life, as she acquires her own gallery, travels the world and tangles romantically with a series of men, including one who becomes a famous artist.
Of course, Adams will play that young entrepreneur named Lacey Yeager, and I guess that we’ll soon find out who will play her partner.
By the way, this novel is the second Martin novel to be adapted into a film and in case you forgot, he wrote and also co-starred in the adaptation of his 2005 Shopgirl.
With every new update on this one, we’ll be back!
