First of all, let us remind you that Villeneuve's new film is based on
José Saramago‘s novel
The Double, which revolves around a divorced high school history teacher who rents a movie in which he sees a man that looks exactly like him.
Against his better judgment, Tertuliano decides to pursue his double. As he roots out the man's identity, what begins as a whimsical story becomes a “wonderfully twisted meditation on identity and individuality”.
So, basically Gyllenhaal is on board to tell us a haunting tale of appearance versus reality?
We're in! The rest of the cast looks promising as well, and includes the above mentioned
