Last May, we shared the news ofAnne Hathaway attached to star and to produce the indie film titled Song One, and according to Daily Mail, she's having a song specifically written for her as well.
The actress who can pick up her first Oscar on Sunday for her performance in Les Miserables, plays an archeologist who falls for a rock star (British singer-actor Johnny Flynn) after she returns from a dig when her brother is injured in the U.S.
Kate Barker-Froyland (assistant on The Devil Wears Prada) is responsible for the script, and she is also attached to direct Song One.
The songs will be written by former Rilo Kiley frontwoman, and solo artist in her own right, Jenny Lewis who will serve as composer and music supervisor alongside her boyfriend Johnathan Rice.
Shooting is scheduled to begin this fall.
Hathaway's husband Adam Shulman is one of the producers as well.
She's also attached to star in a modern iteration of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Hathaway was also on board Steven Spielberg‘s adaptation of Daniel H. Wilson's sci-fi book Robopocalypse, but that film has been put on indefinite hold.
