Ben Mendlesohn Reunites With Ryan Gosling For HOW TO CATCH A MONSTER

Ben Mendelsohn Ben Mendelsohn is now set to join his Place Beyond the Pines star Ryan Gosling for How to Catch a Monster film, written and directed by Gosling. The film described as a ‘surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city' which Mad Man actress Christina Hendricks is already part of the cast is set to start filming next spring. More precisely, shooting will take place in the Detroit, Michigan area beginning in May, 2013. Gosling's Drive costar Hendricks has been cast as a single mother ‘supporting two children and trying to provide a home for them and a place of comfort in a continuously harder place to be.' There is no word about the specific role Mendelsohn will play, but he should be a leading character. Check out the synopsis below.
How To Catch a Monster weaves elements of fantasy noir, and suspense into a modern day fairytale. Set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city, Billy, a single mother of two, is swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Both Billy and Bones must dive deep into the mystery, if their family is to survive.
Mendelsohn gives a stellar performance in Andrew Dominik's crime thriller Killing Me Softly. In the recently released Florence and the Machine music video he also features as Florence Welch's boyfriend, so check out official ‘Lover to Lover' video.
