Amour

Few days ago we shared some photos from the upcoming Amour movie, which will compete for the Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

As usual, director Michael Haneke always deserves our full attention, so today – we’re here to share a French trailer for his latest project. Unfortunately, at this moment, only polyglots will enjoy in this video…

But it’s not hard to guess that we’re dealing with quite powerful story in here. As you already know, Amour (or simply – Love) will tell us the story of Georges and Anne, who are in their eighties.

They are cultivated, retired music teachers. Their daughter, who is also a musician, lives abroad with her family. One day, Anne has an attack, and the couple’s bond of love is severely tested.

So, expect to see a lot of drama from the great cast which includes Jean-Louis Trintignant, Emmanuelle Riva and Isabelle Huppert.

Sony Pictures Classics will release the film in the U.S. later this year.
