Cannes 2012: Bernardo Bertolucci’s IO E TE Images

Io e te It's always nice to have some great photos from a movie which is scheduled to premiere at this year's Cannes Film Festival. That's exatcly the case with Bernardo Bertolucci‘s upcoming Io e Te movie (or if you prefer Me and You), which will premiere this time in Out Of Competition section. Io e te So, as you see from these (little bit weird) images, we're dealing with some intense story which follows a 14-year-old boy named Lorenzo who, having told his parents that he went on a ski trip, hides out in his basement where he unexpectedly comes into close contact with his much older half-sister, Olivia, who has a heroin-addiction problem. The whole thing is based on the book written by Niccolo Ammaniti and Bertolucci is responsible for the screenplay together with Ammaniti and Umberto Contarello, who most recently co-penned Paolo Sorrentino's Sean Penn starrer This Must Be the Place. Io e te Io e te stars Tea Falco and Jacopo Olmo Antinori. Bernardo Bertolucci, who received a lifetime achievement award last year, was In Competition twice before, with Tragedy Of A Ridiculous Man (1981) and Stealing Beauty (1996). At the end, let us remind you that Cannes Film Festival runs from May 16-27. Io e te Io e te Io e te Io e te Io e te
