Cannes 2012: DRACULA 3D by Dario Argento Images
Dracula in 3D, can you imagine that? Well, as you see, everything is possible these days. So no wonder that Dario Argento is now going to show us what it looks like when 3D messes with Transylvania, 1893.
Argento's new horror movie, simply titled Dracula 3D is actually director's first 3D film, and today we're here to share plenty of images from the whole thing. Hope you'll enjoy!
What you should know about this movie is that it is not a direct adaptation of Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, although it features elements from it.
The screenplay was written by Argento, Enrique Cerezo, Stefano Piani and Antonio Tentori and it will center on Jonathan Harker, a young librarian who arrives at the village of Passo Borgo to work for Count Dracula, a noble man from the area.
When faced with the mysterious personality of his host, Jonathan quickly discovers the Count's true nature and how dangerous the man might me, notably to his wife, Mina. Abraham Van Helsing has already crossed Dracula's path, and as violent deaths start piling up, he might be the only man standing in the way of the Count's evil intentions.
Dracula 3D stars Thomas Kretschmann as Dracula, Rutger Hauer as Van Helsing, Asia Argento as Lucy Kisslinger, Marta Gastini as Mina, Unax Ugalde as Jonathan Harker and Miriam Giovanelli as Tania.
The movie will serve as one of the midnight screenings at this year's Cannes Film Festival Out of Competition.

These look absolutely aweful, like some amateur stage production. Dario has lost his touch over the years and I feel sorry that a talented actor like Kretschmann had to star in this. It will most likely be cheap 3D conversation with horrendous fx. Sorry not for me.
Gabriel, a person should not criticize what still has not reviewed, I think your criticism is not worthy of any attention, my vote for you is 0
