Cannes 2012: Quentin Dupieux’s Short WRONG COPS Trailer Starring Marilyn Manson

Wrong Cops We have the first trailer for Wrong Cops, an upcoming 13-minute short film from director Quentin Dupieux, which will premiere in Cannes Director's Fortnight this May. This is actually kind of a 1-minute preview that will show you that Marilyn Manson does have both eyes, and that he can actually look quite normal sometimes. Anyway, as we previously reported, Dupieux' movie centers on Duke, a crooked and music-mad cop, who patrols in Los Angeles' streets, music blasting and meets a young techno lover, David Dolores Frank. Appalled by the musical tastes of the young adolescent, Duke decides to give him a good music lesson. The plot sounds a little bit weird, but c'mon, we're talking about Dupieux, who's the same man behind that Rubber movie from 2010, so… If one mad tire is capable of killing people, then Manson is definitely capable to play “a young techno lover.” Mark Burnham and Grace Zabriskie also star in this movie, which will premiere in Cannes on May 24th 2012, 2:30 pm GMT. Let us know what you think so far, and stay tuned!
