John Hillcoat‘s upcoming cop-drama, and if negotiations with

Matt Cook, which will follow a group of corrupt cops who plan a major heist.

THR reports, the movie is about an L.A. heist in which a group of thieves plan to kill a cop to divert authorities from their own crime scene across town.

triple nine is police code referring to when an officer needs immediate assistance.
And that's (unfortunately) all we know about the plot so far. But, what definitely sounds promising is that
Christoph Waltz and
Cate Blanchett are also being eyed for roles in
