Recently, we added the first trailer for Contraband. Today we have the first poster for Universal Pictures' neo-noir/heist thriller, directed by Baltasar Kormakur, written by Aaron Guzikowski, and based upon the film Reykjavik: Rotterdam.
In “Contraband”, Marc Wahlberg plays Chris Farraday, a family man who has long-abandoned his life of crime. But when his brother-in-law Andy botches up a drug deal, Chris is forced back into doing what he does best—running contraband—to settle Andy's debt. However, he has a few drug lords do deal with first — especially when they're threatening his wife (Kate Beckinsale) and kids.
The film also stars Ben Foster, Giovanni Ribisi, J.K. Simmons, Caleb Landry Jones, Diego Luna and Lukas Haas.
Contraband smuggles into theaters on Jaunary 13th, 2012.
