Don’t Miss International Trailer For Psychological Thriller I, ANNA!

Jeanne Standal November 27, 2012 Add a Comment
I, ANNA This December a chance encounter a deep attraction. Well, the truth is that this great psychological thriller simply titled I, Anna opens next month in UK, but unfortunately there's still nothing about the release date here, in USA. Still, we're here to share an international trailer for the movie which comes from director Barnaby Southcombe and stars Charlotte Rampling and Gabriel Byrne in the leading roles! Hope you'll like it! I, ANNA Image 01 In case you're not so familiar with this project, I will first inform you that I, Anna premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, and that the whole thing is actually based on the book written by Elsa Lewis. Southcombe's psychological thriller is told from the point of view of a female murder suspect, who falls for the detective in charge of the case. I, ANNA Image 02 Charlotte Rampling stars as a striking and enigmatic woman named Anna, who reluctantly attends a speed dating event. Gabriel Byrne, on the other hand, plays D.C.I. Bernie Reid, character described as an insomniac dazed by the prospect of divorce. [jwplayer mediaid=”125796″] And the rest of the story goes like this:
When a man is found bludgeoned to death in a London apartment block Bernie is first on the scene, but is distracted from his duties by a brief encounter with Anna. Going through the motions of the case, Bernie's thoughts return to Anna whom he tracks down and follows. When they finally meet at a singles party, the mutual attraction is instant, although Anna has no recollection of Bernie, nor of the night they first met.As Bernie's professional judgement battles with his desire for intimacy and love, the mystery deep within Anna's mind finally unravels, revealing a truth too painful to bear.
Beside great Rampling and Byrne, the rest of I, Anna cast also includes Hayley Atwell, Eddie Marsan and Jodhi May. The movie is set to open on December 7th, 2012 in UK, but I hope we'll soon have some info about USA theaters as well! Let us know what you think about this movie, and stay tuned for more updates!
