Ryan Gosling in Drive

Ok, this is not a trailer for Nicolas Winding Refn's upcoming Drive, but it definitely looks great!

I mean, it's always great to watch somebody fooling around with police cars, and even better when it's Ryan Gosling, right?

Ok then, enjoy this clip for Drive, movie that will play In Competition soon at Cannes.

As you already know, Drive centers on a nameless Hollywood stuntman (played by Gosling) who does stunt driving for movies by day and drives for criminals at night.

Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan in Drive

In classic noir fashion, he is double-crossed and, though before he has never participated in the violence, he goes after the ones who double-crossed and tried to kill him.

The movie, one of the festival's most anticipated films, is actually an adaptation of the James Sallis novel of the same name.

Refn directed the whole thing from a screenplay by Hossein Amini and the movie has an awesome cast on board. It stars Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Albert Brooks, Oscar Isaacs, Bryan Cranston, Christina Hendricks and Ron Perlman.

At the end, let us mention that Drive will open in the US on September 16th, 2011.
