So, yesterday we started our little chat about
Jay Roach‘s upcoming
Dog Fight project, and today we have a little update.
Well, that depends… If you're a huge fan of
Dylan McDermott, then I'm sure you're going to love this news, because he has joined the cast which, as you probably remember, already includes
Zach Galifianakis, Jason Sudeikis and
Will Ferrell. Yep, this sounds good…
Dog Fight will follow Galifianakis and Ferrell as two rival politicians in a small congressional district in South Carolina.
Now, McDermott comes on board to play Tim Wattley, a political consultant who runs the congressional campaign for Zach Galifianakis' character.
Chris Henchy (who has written several of Ferrell's comedies) is behind the script along with Shawn Harwell, and the rest of the cast includes Sarah Baker and Katherine LaNasa.
Production on Dog Fight will begin in November and Galifianakis is producing along with Roach, through his Everyman Pictures, as well as Ferrell and Adam McKay, through their Gary Sanchez Productions.
