Here's something that may interest you – Ex-Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr has signed up to headline a new sex comedy/horror film The Love Bite. Szohr joins a young cast that includes Edward Speleers (Eragon) and Luke Pasqualino (TV series ‘The Borgias').
Szohr announced her departure from the show earlier in the year, and now she makes the drastic change in this direction to excite viewers in some kind of werewolf comedy directed by Andy de Emmony (West Is West).
The screenplay is written by Ronan Blaney and Cris Cole and the film is shooting in Scotland, slated to start principal photography Oct 9th.
The story begins something like this: School is out, and the holidays have begun in the gloomy seaside town of Rainmouth. Forced to work at his pot-head mother's B&B and to hear about his four horny friends' sexploits, 18-year-old Jamie is desperate to escape. That is until he meets Juliana, a mysterious and beautiful American traveler. But there's a more sinister newcomer in town: a werewolf preying on virgins – and Rainmouth becomes a hunting ground. Or teens feel that they have to lose their virginity to keep them alive. Kids today, eh?
However, Andy is an award winning director in all formats who last made East is East follow-up West is West and he could turn this flick out on the success level.
The project will be pre-sold at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival and later at the American Film Market.
