Yeah, we already wrote about this upcoming Hollywood project, titled The Darkest Hour and some good team that's involved with it – Chris Gorak as director, Timur Bekmambetov as producer and Olivia Thirlby as girl who confronts the aliens.
We also said that we'll be soon back with updates, so if you payed attention in class, then you're right here, right now, reading that Emile Hirsch has also joined The Darkest Hour!
So, it looks that this movie is going to get better and better as time goes on, so no wonder they already describe it as “thriller in the vein of “28 Days Later.”
We already wrote that the story involves a group of young Americans trying to survive an alien invasion in Russia, and we also said that Gorak and Josh Zetumer are responsible for this interesting script. Well, with $40 million budget we definitely expect big spectacle, right?
But we'll just have to wait and see, since the whole thing begins in Moscow in June. Until then, we're here to chat about this cast.
So let's see, we have Olivia Thirlby and Emile Hirsch. It really seems that two of them could make a great team, you must agree.
After all, they're maybe young, but they definitely need some sort of “good come back” projects, right? And, since this alien – thing could be succesfull, then, well, this is not so bad idea.
Young american tourist, Hirsch, and “a trust fund girl trying to survive the attack who teams up with others to try to defeat the invaders”, Thirlby. We can already imagine them struggling to survive in Russia after an alien invasion! And you?
