ENDER’S GAME Promo: Harrison Ford & Asa Butterfield

Nick Martin May 22, 2013 Add a Comment
Ender's Game-Promo Poster - Slice A new promo poster for the upcoming adaptation of Orson Scott Card's seminal sci-fi novel ‘Ender's Game' puts Asa Butterfield and Harrison Ford's characters back to back. The first trailer for Gavin Hood's adaptation got some pretty positive feedback when it popped up two weeks ago with our only complaint being that it may give too much away. Unfortunately, this seems to be a fairly common practice today. A promo poster is simply a promo – it's not a full on poster, but gives us fresh looks at Butterfield as titular Ender Wiggan in his space suit and Ford as Colonel Graff. Besides, Ender's Game cast also includes Hailee Steinfeld as Petra Arkanian, Ben Kingsley as Mazer Rackham, Viola Davis as Major Anderson and Abigail Breslin as Valentine Wiggin, and will open in theaters November 1st, 2013. Check out the poster which showcases the movie's two stars in the feature adaptation of the popular sci-fi novel. Ender's Game-Promo Poster Here's the official synopsis:
In the near future, a hostile alien race (called the Formics) have attacked Earth. If not for the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander, Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley), all would have been lost. In preparation for the next attack, the highly esteemed Colonel Graff (Harrison Ford) and the International Military are training only the best young children to find the future Mazer. Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a shy, but strategically brilliant boy is pulled out of his school to join the elite. Arriving at Battle School, Ender quickly and easily masters increasingly difficult war games, distinguishing himself and winning respect amongst his peers. Ender is soon ordained by Graff as the military's next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School. Once there, he's trained by Mazer Rackham, himself, to lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth and save the human race.
