EVANGELION: 3.0 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO Trailer

Evangelion 3.0 A trailer for Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo (Evangelion Shin Gekijo-ban Q), the third film in Hideaki Anno and Khara‘s four-part remake of Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion anime series, played on the wall of Tokyo's Shinjuku Wald 9 theater at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. The ‘EVA-EXTRA 08′ video first played a digest video of the first two films, and ended after the third film's trailer with the third film's release date: November 17th, 2012. It is a recording of it playing on a wall, but luckily, Japanese are tech-people so the recording is excellent. See for yourself: Advance tickets with bonus items will go on sale on July 14th. While supplies last, theaters will offer advance tickets in a bundle with a Blue Bandana for 2,000 yen (about US$25). The “Q” or “Kyu” in the third film's title is a wordplay in Japanese; the first three films' subtitles are the names for the three classical movements (Jo-Ha-Kyu or Introduction-Exposition-Climax) of traditional Japanese music such as gagaku and Noh.
