Supernatural thriller, or simply – an upcoming horror movie which comes from director John Pogue? Whatever! As you already see, it's time for a little quiet update, because we finally have a completely fresh image from The Quiet Ones movie. The whole thing is currently in post production and is still without an official release date, but you can still check out the official plot of the movie in the rest of this report!
What's definitely interesting about The Quiet Ones is that Tom DeVille, Craig Rosenberg and Oren Moverman (together with director Pogue) all stand behind the story which is inspired by a true events and centers on:
…an unorthodox professor who uses controversial methods and leads his best students off the grid to take part in a dangerous experiment: to create a poltergeist. Based on the theory that paranormal activity is caused by negative human energy, the rogue scientists perform a series of tests on a young patient, pushing her to the edge of sanity. As frightening occurrences begin to take place with shocking and gruesome consequences, the group quickly realizes they have triggered a force more terrifying and evil than they ever could have imagined.
The film stars Jared Harris, Sam Claflin, Erin Richards, Olivia Cooke and Rory Fleck-Byrne which is a pretty good cast, you'll admit.
As I mentioned at the beginning, still nothing about The Quiet Ones release date, but don't worry – we'll keep an eye on it!
