It is only a matter of (a few) days now until the 37th Hong Kong International Film Festival gets underway, with Herman Yau‘s Ip Man: Final Fight opening proceedings on Sunday, March 17th, 2013.
Below you'll see a behind-the-scenes video, featuring interviews with the cast and crew and plenty of on-set footage. It's not subtitled in English, though, so we'll keep you posted:
Starring Anthony Wong as the legendary wing chun style master and Eric Tsang as his foe, the film is unlikely to top the action heights of the recent films with Donnie Yen as Ip (Yip) Man (which I really loved).
Yau's last entry in this quickly-booming Ip-Man craze, The Legend Is Born: Ip Man was actually one of the better efforts, despite its modest budget. Here, Wong plays the martial artist in his twilight years, living in Hong Kong as it recovers from the Japanese occupation.
