Things with Joshua Michael Stern‘s upcoming Jobs biopic are definitely moving forward. The movie is already in the production, and today comes the word that Kevin Dunn, Elden Henson, Lenny Jacobson, Giles Matthey, Ahna O'Reilly, Victor Rasuk and J.K. Simmons have joined the cast which already includes Ashton Kutcher, Josh Gad and James Woods.
So, we all know that the movie will chronicle Jobs' life from a wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple. And we also know that Kutcher is on board to play Steve Jobs, with Gad portraying Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Woods portraying Jack Dudman, Jobs' former Dean of Students at Oregon's Reed College.
Now, when it comes to the above mentioned long list, things are pretty much clear.
Dunn comes on board to play Apple chairman Gil Amelio, Henson will play Macintosh developer Andy Hertzfeld, Jacobson is set to play Apple engineer Burrell Smith, Matthey is iPod designer Jonathan Ive, O'Reilly will play Jobs' girlfriend Chris-Ann, Rasuk is Apple's first employee and user interface architect Bill Fernandez, while Simmons is set to star as venture capitalist and Apple investor Arthur Rock.
The rest of the supporting cast also includes Ron Eldard, John Getz and Lesley Ann Warren.
Quite interesting names for an indie, you'll agree.
That's why we'll keep an eye on it, and you – stay tuned!
