Freedom. It is an idea for which I am prepared to die! Wow! A few days ago we shared an awesome teaser trailer and two character posters for the upcoming Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, which stars Idris Elba as a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary and politician. Now we’re back with the official (read: full theatrical) trailer for the whole thing, and we definitely recommend you to check it out!

We will once again remind you that director Justin Chadwick stands behind this biopic which is based on Mandela’s 1994 autobiography of the same name.
The movie chronicles his early life, coming of age, education and 27 years in prison before becoming President and working to rebuild the country’s once segregated society.
Beside Elba, the rest of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom cast includes Naomie Harris, Tony Kgoroge, Riaad Moosa, Zolani Mkiva and Jamie Bartlett, and the movie is set to hit theaters on November 29th, 2013.
