‘My Spy: The Eternal City’ Trailer Reveals Action-Packed European Adventure

Prime Video’s “My Spy: The Eternal City” promises a thrilling blend of comedy and action as Dave Bautista and Chloe Coleman navigate through Europe’s iconic cities. Get ready for a whirlwind of laughs and thrills as Prime Video drops the trailer for “My Spy: The Eternal City,” a highly anticipated sequel to the 2020 movie ‘My Spy.' Directed by Pete Segal, the man behind ‘Get Smart' and ‘50 First Dates' movies, this film is set to be a confection of action comedy with stunning locations in some of Europe's most picturesque cities.

Filled again with chemistry of Dave Bautista and Chloe Coleman the movie is set with the story of JJ (Bautista) and Sophie (Coleman) going on one intense trip to Italy. Sophie is studying high school and singing in a choir that gets chosen for an international tour in Italy that culminates with a performance at Vatican City in the presence of the Pope. Seeing an opportunity to get closer to the newlywed's daughter, JJ offered to accompany them as the chaperone for the group. However, what was supposed to be a romantic holiday turns into a deadly adventure for them.

On their gondola ride in Venice, cross bridges of Florence and on the historical sites of Rome, JJ and Sophie find themselves navigating their way through a terrorist cell that threatens calamity. Italy's beautiful backdrop when combined with fast and furious action sequences definitely offers audiences an exciting movie to watch.

The main cast of the film is comprised of the popular and recognizable actor Ken Jeong and the talented actress Kristen Schaal alongside the new faces of the film Anna Faris, Craig Robinson, and Flula Borg. All the actors perform as part of the ensemble, and there are ample of chuckles and cackle worth witnessing.
