Game of Thrones Tyrion Lannister
Game of Thrones Blackfish Executive producer David Benioff has dubbed Game of Thrones Season 3 as ‘The Rise and Fall' season… It's incredibly fan-rewarding to have made it this far, to be able to get to the season that we've been looking forward to so passionately since the series' beginning. For now, have a look at the featurette titled “An Invitation to Set” and some new pics after the jump.
A Game of Thrones is the first novel in A Song of Ice and Fire, a series of high fantasy novels by American author George R. R. Martin. It was first published on 6 August 1996. The novel won the 1997 Locus Award, and was nominated for both the 1998 Nebula Award and the 1997 World Fantasy Award. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series has been adapted into an American fantasy television series create for HBO by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. Filmed in a Belfast  studio and on location elsewhere in Northern Ireland, Malta, Croatia, Iceland, and Morocco, it premiered on HBO in the United States on 17 April 2011. The series has won numerous awards and nominations — including two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Drama Series, a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Television Series – Drama, a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation in Long Form, and a Peabody Award. Among the ensemble cast, Peter Dinklage won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries or Television Film for his role as Tyrion Lannister.
