José Padilha‘s remake of Paul Verhoven's sci-fi classic,
RoboCop the first official synopsis was revealed.
For those familiar with the world of Alex Murphy the newly revealed plot details for the remake come as no surprise.
Joel Kinnaman (The Darkest Hour) plays the title character;
Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight Rises) is on board as the creator of the metallic law-enforcer and cool
Samuel L. Jackson will portray Pat Novak, ‘a charismatic media mogul and a powerful force in the RoboCop world'.

The year is 2029 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front.
