Alex Cross helmer Rob Cohen has a new job! We've just learned that Cohen is set to direct another action adventure movie titled Crash Bandits for Nu Image/Millennium. In case this already sounds familiar to you, let us first remind you that once upon a time, the project had John McTiernan on board to direct and Hayden Christensen to star.
At this moment we know that Cohen will direct the movie from a script (originally) written by Michael Stokes which will revolve around:
…the rivalry between two treasure hunters who specialize in salvaging old plane wrecks. When they get a beat on the ultimate prize, they find themselves in a race against each other in the Amazon jungle.Johnny Martin, David Raines, Kevin King and Mark Canton will produce Crash Bandits, while Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, Boaz Davidson and John Thompson will exec produce.
