Sean Bean to Play the King in Untitled Snow White Project

Nick Martin December 15, 2011 1 comment

Sean Bean, Snow White

Boromir from The Lord of the Rings, currently seen as Lord Eddard Stark on HBO's Game of Thrones, will probably turn into the King in Tarsem Singh‘s untitled Snow White movie. Of course, it's all about British actor Sean Bean who is in final negotiations to star along Lily Collins, Julia Roberts, Armie Hammer and Nathan Lane in feature also known as The Brothers Grimm: Snow White. Relativity Media is now currently shooting the film in Montreal with Julia Roberts playing the evil queen and Lily Collins playing her step-daughter, both of whom compete for the prince's Alcott (The Social Network's Armie Hammer) affection. Bean will embody Snow White's father, whose kingdom is left in ruins by Roberts' evil Queen and Lane stars as the unfortunate and clumsy servant to the Queen. The project, likely truer to the original Brothers Grimm fairy tale, is on track for a March 16, 2012 release. Singh's film is one of three similar high-profile fairy tale projects in the pipeline – Rupert Sanders' Snow White and the Huntsman is slated for June 1st and there's also Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters on March 2nd. Bean has just completed filming Cleanskin, which starring Charlotte Rampling and James Fox, and will star in Soldiers of Fortune, alongside Ving Rhames and Christian Slater. He will as well reprise his role as Christopher Da Silva in the Silent Hill film sequel Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. Do you think Tarsem Singh may have pushed his adaptation to the top with Sean Bean? But first watch video dedicated to Eddard Stark.

This actor is great! I believe this film/story sounds silly and beneath his, Nathan’s, and Julia’s level. I guess you have to make a living with anything.
