I'm not some huge fan of so-called “alternate endings”, but when it comes to Silver Linings Playbook – I'm willing to give them a try.
After all, David O. Russell‘s romantic drama earned 8 Oscar nominations, and won a Best Actress Oscar (Jennifer Lawrence) so what the hell, let's see that exclusive alternate ending video, shall we?
So, what's so special about this 4-minute video? If you ask me – nothing spectacular in here. It's all about that dance competition scene, we have Pat and Tiffany's love story (they realize they're in love, remember?) and the next logical thing is that we get another look at great Robert De Niro and Jackie Weaver. Because let's face it – it's not all about Bradley Cooper and Lawrence in this film!
In other words – consider all this as a little reminder that Silver Linings Playbook arrives on home video on April 30th.
